Unlike the needles, this picking takes the first leaf as well as the bud. The nose is a floral, grassy freshness with a bright note of geranium; the taste brings meadow flowers and nectar. It stands up to brewing remarkably well and keeps going for many pours. Good in the afternoon or the early evening.
