Tight, silvery, down-covered spirals hand-rolled from the earliest spring buds: the “Emerald Spirals of Spring” from the Dongting hills beside Lake Taihu. Tea bushes grow among apricot, plum and loquat trees, acquiring their floral-fruity character while still on the branch. Fresh and gently sweet in the cup, with clear floral notes and light fruity tartness, without harsh green flavours. Brew at around 80°C rather than a rolling boil to keep the tender leaves from turning bitter.
