Chong Shi Cha (Insect-Dropping Tea)

A rare and unusual tea known to enthusiasts as “insect-dropping tea”. The method comes from southern Chinese traditions: certain caterpillars feed on tea or bamboo leaves, and their droppings undergo natural fermentation before being collected. The resulting infusion is dark, gentle and slightly sweet, with light woody bitterness and no sharp or unpleasant notes. A rare offering with a particularly strong reputation for “tea drunkenness”.
