Tieguanyin Mao Xie

From Anxi County in southern Fujian, the same region as classic Tieguanyin, with which it shares much of its production method. Mao Xie is one of the four famous southern Fujian oolongs, alongside Tieguanyin, Huang Jin Gui and Ben Shan. This clonally propagated cultivar is associated with Fumei village in Daping, Anxi. A fresh, refreshing tea with clear lilac notes in both aroma and taste, complemented by a light tartness.
