A young raw pu-erh from 2020. By tea standards it is still a teenager, but the years are beginning to show, and the name Chenxiang points exactly to that aged aroma. The dry leaf smells of greens and hay; the liquor still carries plenty of Yunnan bitterness and astringency that quickly turns to sweetness and a honeyed finish. The body is full, and toward the later infusions notes of dried fruit and warm wood come through. Brew it gongfu-style with water around 90°C and pour off the first rinse.
