Yiwu Mengla Gongting Ripe Pu-erh

Ripe pu-erh made with leaves from Mengla County in Xishuangbanna, home to the celebrated Yiwu tea area, one of Yunnan’s six ancient tea mountains. Yiwu is known for a gentle, deep character. Gongting, meaning “palace”, denotes a grade of especially small, tender buds. After fermentation, the tea produces a smooth, velvety infusion with gentle sweetness, light dried-fruit notes and very little earthy bitterness.
