A black tea from wild-growing tea trees in Yunnan, made from the same purple-leaf 'ye sheng' varietal. The aroma carries dark berries and baked plum; the cup is ripe stone fruit, prune and honeyed sweetness, with a resinous, woody note underneath. The liquor is thick and dark amber, finishing clean and sweet.
