Shi Piao Yixing Clay Teapot

Shi Piao means “stone ladle” or “stone scoop”, and its form resembles a small ladle. It developed from a household vessel used to draw water and make tea. The body is trapezoidal, like a gently curved pyramid, with a broad, stable base, often on three small feet resembling Go stones. A straight spout meets the body, the handle forms an inverted triangle, and an arched bridge tops the lid.
